The South Norwood Community Festival is back!!!
Now in it’s 8th year, the fun family festival is returning this summer on the 30th June 2019. The festival will feature a fantastic range of international food, craft stalls and musical attractions located in South Norwood’s Recreation Ground on Cargreen Road, which is just around the corner from Station Road and Norwood Junction station.
Our main music stage will be hosted by amazing local bands and radio DJs. The line up this year will be the Croydon Youth Jazz Band, Morris and the Boys, TBC, Sabatta, Mango Seed, Stunflower and Finally MT Pockets, also the Far Isles Medieval Society are coming back to bring some medieval joy.
For the children, the ever-popular Fun Zone will return once again, with all new rides and bouncy castles and many surprises.
For the grown-ups, there will be a beer tent which is managed by the SNCC, who will be serving real ale, cider, lager, wine, cocktails and other refreshing beverages available from 12-6pm.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! The South Norwood Community Festival has even more activities which are planned for the week before, from the 24th June right up to the big party in the park on Sunday 30th June.
The Festival will raise funds for Wheels for Wellbeing, a charity helping people with disabilities enjoy and ride bicycles, and the St Christopher’s, a hospice which aims to provide charitable and sensitive palliative care for those in need.
This festival is for EVERYONE, it's free, and it's friendly.
